This is the Beginning

The Boston family is not easy to track. The city of Boston gets in the way of everything you try to do. I should know, I have two Boston trees in my history.

My mother was a Boston, the daughter of Carl Homer Boston, son of Bill Boston of Cambria Iowa. My father's mother was also a Boston, Leota Francis Boston, daughter of Jeremiah Britton (Judd) Boston of Liberty Center Iowa.

Grandma's family has been fairly easy to track, but the recent generations are fuzzy. Grandpa's Boston's are more difficult. I'll get into that later.

For now, I'll just say that there is little on the Web about either family after they came to southern Iowa. THAT is what I hope to discuss, here.
