Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. James Boston, which occurred at her home at Lucas on Friday morning after an extended illness. Mrs. Boston, with her family, lived in and near Lacona for many years, and has many friends among the older residents who will receive the news with sadness. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Daugherty of near Lacona; and three sons, Judd, Marion and David, of near Lucas. The husband, James Boston, and a son, James, preceded her in death. The funeral was held Sunday with interment in the Liberty Center cemetery. The many friends of the family extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones.
