Genealogy of the Boston Family in Southern Iowa

Welcome to the Boston Families of Southern Iowa. I have Bostons on both sides. Rather than using references to Mom's or Dad's Boston, I've gone geographical. My mother is the daughter of Carl Homer Boston from Wayne Co and since I've found none of Dad's Bostons there, they're the Wayne Co Bostons. Dad was the son of Leota Francis (Boston) Gwinn origially of Warren Co, thus the Warren Co Bostons. I'll try to get some ancestor trees up to unconfuse. - Ray

Mrs. Boyd Boston is First Polio Case of 1956

Mrs Boyd Boston was the first reported case of Polio in Lucas County Iowa for the year 1956.  I am glad to report that Mrs. Boston is doing well in the year 2011, not having suffered any loss of longivity from her polio incident.
